Oops I did it again, I spent money I didn't have..

Mm I love shopping! Recently I have been spending monies and bought a few things so I thought I would show you!

First up is boring and its the Cutex ultra cleansing nail polish remover. I bought this from Superdrug because I ran out of nail polish remover (obviously) and this was on offer to £1.50 odd or something like that so I thought I'd pick it up and it was in the 3 for 2 nails offer. This is weird but I love smelling my nails after I have taken my nail polish off because it doesn't leave that horrible alcoholy smell that a lot of nail polish removers leave. It has multifruit acid, green tea extract and vitamin E which gives my nails a fruity smell after I use it. It doesn't smell like that in the bottle but I have found after using it a few times that my nails don't feel as gritty and horrible like when I use other nail polish removers.

Next is a few nail polishes from MUA (I say a few?!) Like I said, superdrug have had a 3 for 2 offer on all nail things in store so I went a bit mental with nail polishes. I really like the MUA nail polishes, they are cheap but are really good not like those nasty nail polishes you get. The colour range isn't too bad either even though I nearly have them all.. I have written a post about them which will be linked here.

Next I have more MUA products (I told you I like them) and these are there lipsticks in Nectar and Juicy. I'm not going to go into too much detail about them as I've done a post about nectar which will be linked here and a post mentioning juicy which will be linked here. Love these lipsticks, can't fault them. Can't wait to get more!

Moving away from superdrug, I made a order on Wednesday night on Fragrance Direct and my order came today.. I ordered standard delivery and they came within 2 days! Super quick! As I've mentioned may times, I am trying to get into wearing lipstick so I thought fragrance direct would be the best place as everything is reduced massively! I have wanted a nude lipstick for quite a while so I ordered 'Notting Hill Nude' by Rimmel which is a lovely nude colour and I really like this already as it's not a pale nude like some lipsticks are, it has a pink undertone to it which I really like and it was 99p. Bargain!

Again from fragrance direct I picked up some Maybelline Colour sensational lipsticks in the colours Citrus slice and Tropical pink. Now, I already have one in electric orange which I love so I thought I'd go for some more bright lipsticks. Little did I know after looking at them, they are from the 'popsticks' range which means they have no colour, they are more like a balm in a lipstick format. I am gutted! It didn't say on the website that they were the popsticks otherwise I wouldn't of gone for them. Anyway, they were only £1.99 each so it's not a big loss but at the same time, I am quite like them. The stick itself is like jelly, its see-through, its so cool! and they smell and taste amazing! I will do a review on these soon to explain more about them.

I also ordered a Essie Nail polish is 'Fear and Desire' which is a gorgeous orange for £1.99. I was debating on whether to go for the oh so raved about 'Bikini So Teeney' and 'Mint Candy Apple' but I decided to go for a orange colour because I don' have a orange nail polish. I have 1 Essie nail polish in Sugar Daddy which I got in a Glossybox however it is very sheer so I have to do a tonne of layers to get pale pink colour. I previously had a orange colour from Missguided but it smashed and I have been looking for a nice orange ever since. The colour of this is very bright. I think it would go perfectly with a plain black maxi alongside my orange lipstick by Maybelline in 'Electric Orange' with a glowing tan. Mmm.

Lastly I ordered a nail polish in 'Minted' by Revlon. I haven't got a Revlon nail polish so I thought I'd try one out and I really liked the look of this mint colour. I have a mint nail polish form Barry M but that one is getting a bit thick so it's hard to paint my nails so I picked this one up for £1.99 again from Fragrance Direct.

Last but certainly not least, I picked up a top from Primark. Primark have there mid season sale on and I saw this top and I fell in love with it. It was originally £10 and was reduced to £5 and it has a gorgeous geometric type design on it and is quite thin and sheer but you could get away with not wearing a vest underneath it. The arm, bottom and neck bit and cuffed which I thought was really nice. I mainly bought it to wear for work with a black skater skirt but I would also wear it with a pair of light coloured denim jeans.

That's all I've bought recently. It won't be long for me to accumulate more things for a haul! Have you seen anything above which you like?

Would you rather? - Beauty edition

Now I don't know about you but there is something quite relaxing about browsing blogs and reading peoples tags. I love knowing more about people and such things as what there favourite product is, there favourite brand etc and I came along this tag and thought I would give it a whirl and add in some of my own questions.

Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eye shadows?
I would have to say i'd rather loose all my eye shadows and palettes just for the fact that I cannot live without mascara.

Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
I love having long hair so I would say never be able to cut it again. But the thought of all them split ends. Ew.

Would have rather have all high end products or all drugstore products?
So easy for me, drugstore. I don't currently have any high end make up so i'm a drugstore kinda girl. Don't get me wrong, if someone gave me loads of high end make up I wouldn't say no, but at this moment, I am not bothered that I don't have high end make up. I personally think why spend so much money on one product when you can get so much more at the drugstore? I know the quality is much better but some drugstore products are just as good as high end ones (so i've heard)

Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Mm, I would have to say pink cheek just for the fact that I mainly wear a pink cheek.

If you had £1000 to spend, Would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
Ah, this is hard. Even though I love make up and beauty stuff, I would have to go with clothes just because I am forever needing clothes and I have a lot of make up as it is.

Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
This question does not look good either way. I would have to say apply eyeliner as lipstick. Even though I don't really wear lipstick, you could use a nude eyeliner on the lips for s nude lip but I couldn't imagine a bright pink lipstick being put on my waterline. No thank you.

Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
I have no MAC products nor have I ever been to Sephora but I would have to say Sephora just because they have a range of different brands so there's always something different and we don't have one here in the UK.

Would you rather only use one eye shadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?
Again as I don't use lip products that often, I would have to say one eye shadow

Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
We rarely have a 'summer' here in the UK so I would have to say wearing winter clothes in the summer because I get cold very easily like I sometimes find it cold in the summer when people are walking around half naked. And I couldn't see myself walking about in a bikini in winter. Hell no!

Would you rather dark nails or bright nails all year round?
This is easy, defo bright nails. I don't really like dark nails on me so my nails are always bright!

Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favourite eye product?
Easy peasy, again it would be favourite lip product. I at least need mascara in my life. But, having no lip balm for my horrible lips? Eww.

Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a pony tail or a messy bun?
Hmm not this depends on what my hair is like as in if its curly or straight. I prefer my hair to be in a ponytail when it's straight but I quite like my hair in a messy bun. I would have to say, messy bun.

Would you rather never being able to paint your nails again or never use lip gloss?
I would never use lip gloss again. I hate it when my nails aren't painted and I don't really use lip gloss.

Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all? or sharpie them in everyday?
Have you seen pictures of people without eyebrows?! I'd rather sharpie them in everyday!

Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
Ahh, this is hard! I love make up and nail polish! But I'm going to contradict myself now and I'd rather live without nail polish just because people see my face more than my hands.

There you go, a fun little tag for you know a bit more about me! I tag YOU to take part in this tag, don't forget to leave your links below so I have have a little read!

Summer Essentials: Tan & After Sun

My skin is fair which means I don't tan in the sun, I burn then go back to being pale which I hate! I have never properly fake tanned myself, I've had a spray tan done before but I don't feel confident enough to apply a fake tan on myself because knowing my luck, it would go wrong. So, I have a few of favourite tanning/tan maintainers.

The product I have been using this year is the Dove Summer Glow nourishing lotion with a gradual self tanner. I bought this for my uncles wedding as I was wearing a bright coral dress and I wanted a bit more colour on my skin but I didn't want to fake tan so I bought this. I like gradual tanners because you can get them in several shades which is good as I wouldn't feel confident putting a dark one on. The shade of this is medium to dark which I was scared about but the first time I used it, it just made my skin a little darker than what it was which I was fine with. I like this as you can apply a thin layer like I did just to test it out then a day later you can build it up to the colour that you want. I have applied this with both my hands and a tanning mitt and it goes on nicely on the skin and has a nice scent to it but like all tanners, when it dries it does turn into that awful biscuity smell. But, it gives me a nice glowing bit of colour and I've been using it a lot recently.

Next is the Garnier Ambre Solaire after sun hydrating tan maintainer. I bought this last year for my holiday mainly for an after sun and it kept my tan looking nice and glowing. Yes I got a little bit of a tan, defo because of this product though. It says it can be used for the face and body but I don't like the thought of putting it on my face. The smell is divine. It just smells of summer! I kept this bottle so I knew what to get this year because I knew if I threw it away, I would forget about it but I love it!

Next is the Rimmel Sun Shimmer instant tan in medium shimmer. Now I was given this last year as for some reason which cant remember I was maybe looking for a nice fake tan? I'm not to sure about this firstly because of the smell. To me, it reminds me of an elderly lady smell and it leaves you with that biscuity smell. Also it does come out very dark on my skin but that's probably because i'm pale but I haven't really tried it out. Its been hiding away in my box full of products which I haven't used but I might have to play around with it to see what it is like.

Lastly is the Garnier Ambre Solaire golden touch after sun. Again I bought this last year for my holiday. This one is a golden touch after sun which means it does have a lot of shimmer to it so I would recommend only using a little as you will look like a disco ball. It's lovely at night as it gives your skin a lovely shimmer to it but too much, it just doesn't look right. The smell is quite peculiar, I can't quite put my finger on what it smells like. I wouldn't say it prolongs your tan, but it does defo give you are shimmering summer glow.

Overall, these tan maintainers, after sun and maybe instant tan are products which I use a lot in the summer due to me either being pale or looking like a lobster. Not a good look.

What are your favourite after suns or tan maintainers? I would love to know!

Summer Essentials: Lips

MUA Power Pouts - Broken Hearted, Justify, Irreplaceable

Maybelline Colour Sensational - Electric Orange

Revlon Lip Butters - Wild Watermelon, Juicy Papaya

MUA lipsticks - Juicy, Nectar

Summer is my favourite season of the year. I love everything about it, the heat, ice creams, late nights, holidays and hiding those thick wooly jumpers and scarfs. Now in the UK, it has been extremely hot to the point where even though I love summer, the heat is being unbearable. In another country, I can deal with it but at home I want to throw myself in a freezer.

I have previously spoken about my essential nail colours which will be linked here and I also did a guest post about my favourite summer foundation which will be linked here. Today, I am going to talk about another essential, lips!
Now if you've read my previous posts then you know that I have horrible lips so i'm not a big lippy person but I am trying to get into them. I have picked out a few of my favourite lip products for the summer time.

MUA power Pouts:
I have already done a post on these which will be linked here for a more detail but I love these. They are a lip balm which gives a subtle colour on the lips and I just love them!

Maybelline Colour Senestional:
When I first picked this colour up I put it straight back because of the colour. It is exactly the colour what it says on the lipstick, it really is electric orange. My boyfriend persuaded me to get it as he thought it would suit my hair, skin and eye colour so I thought why not. And I always watch Zoella's you tube videos and she makes me want to wear orange lipsticks. Everyone needs a bright lipstick in the summer time as they go with pale and tanned skin. I love this. I'm not brave enough to wear it too bright so I blot it down and it is also really moisturising.

Revlon Lip Butters:
I picked these put a few months ago and they are similar to the MUA power pouts in the sense that they are like a balm with a hint of colour. I love these, they really moisturise the lips and work as a great base if you want to apply a lipstick or gloss on top or you can build them up for a stronger colour.

MUA lipsticks:
I need to stop talking about these but I can't! I've already done a post on the colour Nectar which will be linked here and I picked up juicy yesterday to add to my collection and it is a lovely creamy neutral pink which again would go lovely with a tan.

Oo can't forget, a lip balm with an SPF in it. I always carry lip balms with me and ones with SPF in are a life savior in this weather as no one wants burnt lips, ouch!

Overall, these are the lip colours that I will be wearing in the summer and there is no doubt that I will be adding more to my collection.

What are your favourite summer lip products?

Summer Essentials: Nails!

MUA Nail Polishes - £1

I have recently done a guest post on http://etailpr.blogspot.co.uk/ about my favorite summer foundation so I thought why not do a little series about my other summer essentials? And this post is, if you couldn't see the pictures clear enough, is about nails!

Once upon a time, I never used to paint my nails due to being, a nail biter. Don't get me wrong, there are days when I do bite my nails for one reason or another but, I love having long nails!
Because of me having nails, my nail polish collection is ever growing. Its getting that bad I'm having to use another storage method to store them!

Everyone and there mothers goldfish knows that pastel colours are a big hit in the summer time. Unless your like me and you wear any colour, then you go girl! Or boy! I have recently discovered that I have collected a few Make Up Academy (MUA) nail polishes recently which are all within the 'summer' sort of colours. Now, I went shopping today and bought another 2 which means you are having a sneak preview at my soon to be 'haul' post, lucky you!

If you have read my blog from the beginning then you will know that I am a big lover of MUA which means I spend a lot of money on there brand. Sorry bank account.

I like to change my nail polish very frequently so I don't like to buy expensive nail polishes because I think its a waste of money sometimes and there are some which are exactly a dupe but for much cheaper! MUA polishes are £1 each which has lead me to have a little collection of them and Superdrug has 3 for 2 offer on all nail stuff so, that didn't help!

I like how MUA have re-vamped there packaging to make it look like Essie nail polishes but smaller which I think is really cute! I also like that these are small because I personally don't use up a whole nail polish because 99.9% of the time, I buy new ones, forget the ones I already have and they go horrible so they end up going in the bin. I also like how they have names now instead of Shade 1, Shade 2, Shade 3 etc.

The colours I have are (in order in the picture) Lush Lilac, Koala Bear, Bright Coral, Ameretto Crush, Bold Blue, Frozen Yoghurt and Strawberry Crush. My new purchases are Bold Blue and Lush Lilac which means I haven't had a chance to try them out but I know i'm going to love them.

The pigmentation of these nail polishes are brilliant, the first coat can be a little bit streaky especially with the lighter colours but the second coat evens it all out and gives a bold colour. The lasting power on these can vary depending on how many coats you do, I find that the more coats you do there quicker it chips, but if your like me and you change your nail polish frequently then its no bother. Or you can add a top coat which makes the staying power longer and I usually do 2 coats, just in case.
I love that all these colours can make a boring outfit and if your not experimental with colours on such places as your eyes or lips, this definitely makes up for it!

Overall, I love nail polishes in the summer despite the colour whether its pastel or a dark colour, all colours make a plain outfit and look brilliant with a tan! I love Frozen Yoghurt and Ameretto Crush!

Have you tried MUA's nail polishes out and whats your favourite colour?

MUA lipstick in Nectar

MUA lipstick in Nectar - £1

I love the MUA range. I have many of there products from blushes to nail polish to eye palettes and for the prices that there products are, it is one of my favourite brands. Don't get me wrong, some of there products are not so great but its a case of hit or miss with them and you cant complain when the majority of their products are £1.

I am trying my hardest to try more lipsticks out and I have had my eye on this one for some time but my local superdrug never had it in stock. But, on the weekend they re-stocked the MUA counter up. YAY! So i snatched this straight away and I have fallen in love with it.

The colour of it is gorgeous. It is a coral colour but more on the orange side than pink and it is so so so creamy on the lips. My lips are fairly bad at the moment which means it doesn't look nice with flakey lips so photos up close are a bit naff. But the pigmentation of it is brilliant! And the bottom of the packaging includes a little tub of lipstick which i'm not sure i'd use but it makes it easier when picked out what colour to wear.

The colour of it itself is bright which means it will look gorgeous with a summer glowing tan. When my lips are better, I am planning to wear it with a very simple eye make up look alongside a simple outfit in order for the colour to be the main focus.
Because i'm not a lippy person, i'm still trying to find out what colour suits me but I feel that this sort of shade goes well with my blue eyes and brown hair and funnily enough my pale skin? Who would have thought it. I've heard that it gives a matte finish which i'm unsure about as my lips are dry as it is but I haven't had the right lips to see yet.

Overall from what I've tried, I am in love with this lipstick and I can't wait to wear it more!

Have you tired MUA's lipstick range or any of there products?

Pokeball Nail Art

Believe it or not but I used to be a nail biter. I know I know. But I have got out of that habit and grow my nails now which means I enjoy painting my nails now a lot more than what I used to because there was no nail to paint and I am constantly buying new nail varnishes. Because I have longer nails, this means that I enjoy doing the occasional nail art for a bit of fun.

Now I tired this nail art months ago for my boyfriend as loves Pokemon so I decided to give it ago and I haven't done it since so I decided to do it again and show some pictures. The first time I did it, I did it on all of my nails and it took me about three hours overall no joke because I'm a perfectionist so I decided to do it on just one nail on each hand to make it a lot easier.

The first thing you will need is black, red and white nail varnish. Now I have misplaced my black nail varnish so I simply used a old back eyeliner with a felt tip nib which did the job perfectly.
The first thing you want to do is apply a base coat to protect your nails. You then want to use your red nail varnish. You can either paint half the nail or the whole nail its entirely up to you. You then want to paint the other half white and this may need 1-2 maybe 3 coats to get it white white. I then painted the rest of my nails red to ho along with the theme whilst waiting for the white nail varnish to dry.
For the next bit, I sprayed hairspray on my nail and then did a line int he middle of the nail with a black dot in the middle. (This may need several going overs). Then you place a white dot in the middle of the black circle, apple a top coat when dry and clean up any mistakes made and you are done! It is that simple!
I always get compliments when doing this type of nail art and it's so easy to do!

If you have any other types of nail art you like to do, let me know in the comments as I always love to give different ideas and themes a go! Do you like doing nail art?

Wells-Next-The-Sea Day Out.

On the weekend, the sun was shining so me, my boyfriend and our best friends decided to take a road trip to the beach "Lets go to the beach each, lets go get away". The closest beach to us is Hunstanton but we thought, it's a weekend and its a popular beach so we decided to go out further and go to Well-Next-The-Sea which is a 2 and a bit hour drive away. We decided that morning to go which meant I forgot my camera so the photos I did take were taken on my iPhone and I didn't bring my bikini. But, I improvised and turned my dress into a bandeau type thing which meant I still got the sun yay!

The drive itself was lovely. The sat nav took us through the countryside and it was generally nice to go somewhere different for a change. We drive past the local caravan site there and it looks like a nice place if you haven't got the time or money to go on a proper holiday and just need to get away for a few days.

We got there at about half 1 which is a bit late as you would normally like to leave really early but we weren't in a rush. The beach itself was lovely. Suprisingly it wasn't that busy so that meant that the boys had fun play fighting with each other. Bromance. We unfortunately didn't have time to walk through the local town as we arrived quite late and the walk from the town to the beach was long and walking a long distance in the sun is not the one.

The weather was lovely. The sun was so hot so pale old me got a bit sunburnt and even my sunburn from the previous day, got sunburn. There was a slight overcast but it felt nice when you were getting hot and a bit sticky.

It was lovely to relax not worrying about anything which made it even better! But whenever me and my boyfriend go to the beach, there is always that couple that think its acceptable to be grinding on each other thinking that they are in a movie and basically having sex in front of everyone. Yes, that happened and I'm not even going to tell you what we saw. It was horrific!
Anyway, the sea was going and we left at half 4 which meant that we didn't spend a lot of time there, but we still had a 2 hour drive and that means we got caught in rush hour.

Overall, I would definitely recommend going to Wells-Next-The-Sea for either a holiday or just a day trip out.

Have you been to Wells-Next-The-Sea before and what is your favourite beach?

the 'chemicool' tee

Chemicool tee - Topshop £20

About 2 months ago, I was strolling along in my local town shopping, as you do and I went into Topshop. Now, I don't tend to shop at Topshop because I think some of there prices are ridiculous and I always think I can get the same piece of clothing but much cheaper at stores like New Look. Also the majority of the stock doesn't appeal to me like other stores so, I have like no clothes from there.
However I went in and saw this top. If you didn't already know, I am studying a Applied Science course at college in Forensic Science.
I saw this top and I was deciding whether to get it or not but I thought to myself if I don't get it, I will regret it so I bought it and wore it as soon as I got home and I love it.
The main and obvious thing I love about this top is the chemicals from the periodic table. I love that each chemical had a different colour and that you have the atomic mass, symbol, where it is in the periodic table etc. What I also like about it, is how it spells 'Chemicool' which I just think is brilliant. It's taken some people a while to understand what it says but its so cool! They had one saying 'Genius' using the same concept but in grey but I thought 2 would be 1 too many.
I also like the turn up sleeves making it look more interesting than being a standard tee.
I love pairing with top with a pair of light denim colour pair of skinny jeans as I think dark skinnies will clash as the top itself as it is navy. I also like to wear a
pair of cut out shoes from newlook which are here but in navy. I also like to pair it with a black skater skirt and a pair of white converse. Lovely Jubbley.

This has become a staple piece in my wardrobe and I am wearing it most days I love it that much.

What do you think about these sort of tee's and how would you wear it?

Apocalips Lip Lacquers

Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquers - Celestial £5.99

A couple of months ago, Boots had there 3 for 2 offer (which lasted like a life time) and I heard a lot about the new Apocalips by Rimmel so I bit the bullet and bought one.
Now if you've read my previous posts, you know that I am not a lippy person so I was unsure on 1. wether to get one and 2. what colour to get. I liked the look of 'Big Bang' but I think reds done suit me so I picked a more neutral lip colour and went for Celestial even though I wish I had picked up Apocaliptic as its looks beautiful. I won't go into too much detail about what they are as everyone knows about them.

My first impressions of this was that I didn't like it. The first thing that put me off was the scent. I can't describe it, it just smells horrific and I'm the type of person that bases products on smells.
The second thing that put me off was the doe-foot applicator. It has a big dent like feature in the applicator so when I put the right amount on and give it a final go over, the product hidden in the dent goes on my lips and put too much product on them. I also do not like that it doesn't set so after a while I forget it doesn't set and I get it all over my face. Not a good look.

However, there are things I do like about it yay!
I love the packaging! I love the lid as well as the bottom of the packaging and the colour at the bottom of the packaging is true to colour unlike some lip products. I also like the colour of it. It is a very 'your lips but better' colour but I have a few lip products this colour so I wish I bought a bolder colour like apocaliptic. I also like that it is basically a liquid lipstick with the gloss that a lip gloss gives you.
Recently, I have dug it out a bit more to see if I've changed my mind about it and I'm liking it a bit more than what I did. I don't know why when all the things I like and don't like haven't changed.

Overall, from what they were hyped up to be, I am a little disappointed with the Apocalips but I'm determine to use is a little bit more and try to love it like others do.

Have you tried out the Rimmel Apocalip Lip Lacquers and what do you think of them?

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum - 51 Light Vanilla £10.99

I was in Tesco about a month ago now and I always drift off to the beauty aisle. I came across the Bourjois section and saw that the healthy mix serum was on offer from £10.99 to £8 and I wanted to try this foundation for ages but I already have 5 on the go so I never felt the need to get it until it was on offer. This is also my first ever product from  Bourjois funnily enough and I heard so many good things so I wanted to try it out.

The first thing I love is the smell of the foundation. If it was okay to eat it, I would it smells that good! It gives a light coverage which I love as its far too hot to wear a medium to full coverage foundation but it still gives a good coverage to cover redness and any imperfections on my face. I got the shade 51 light vanilla which I thought would be too light for me but it matches my skin perfectly. But when I get a bit more colour in the summer, I think it will be too light for me boohoo.
I also love that it is gel based which makes it easier to blend in and it gives my skin a dewy finish but not to the extent where it is too dewy so I don't have to powder after applying this.
It claims to give a boost of radiance to your skin which I definitely agree with. With the help of my Moisture Match moisturiser from Garneir a review of it is here it does give a massive different to how my skin looks and feels. I use the Real Techniques expert face brush to blend it in which gives a flawless finish to the skin.

Overall I am in love with this product and I cannot fault it at all and I cannot wait to purchase more Bourjois products.

Have you tried this foundation or any of the other Bourjois products and what do you think of them?

The Mint Stripped Dress

Republic - £5 (in the sale)

The weather in the UK is slowly getting better and better. The sun is making more of a appearance now which means that it is time to hide away the jeans and bring out dresses and skirts. Now, I am a jeans a t-shirt kinda girl because I find them so versatile and comfortable so that's all I ever wear really. Last week I popped into my local Republic store as I was shopping and came across this dress. I wasn't specifically looking for anything but when I saw it, I fell in love. I love skater dresses as I am a curvy girl but this dress goes out above where a normal skater dress goes out (if you know what I mean) which hides my hips and bum. A picture is seen above.
I also love the fact that its stripped across on the top half which makes your chest look bigger (I do not need help with that thankyou) and the bottom section, the stripes go down which elongates your legs. Now, I like this because I'm short so anything to make my legs look longer is a winner for me. The material of it is quite thick, but it's not too thick that your sweating. I also picked this up as I thought it would look nice for work as I work in retail and being stood under bright lights all day is a no no in the summer time. It was originally £20 but it was reduced to £5 and they also had a berry red colour and a black colour but I thought that mint green is different and it would look great in the summer. I was tempted to pick the other 2 colours up but I do not need more dresses to add to my collection. Do I?
I have wore this dress twice, once for work and the other time I paired it up with a pair of converse as I love the combination of a skater skirt/dress and converse. Laavley.
Overall, I love this dress and I am so happy I snapped it up.

What do you think about these sorts of dresses?

Review: Garnier Moisture Match for Dull Skin

Garnier Moisture Match for Dull Skin - £5.99
Hey guys
I'm not really a skin care person (its really bad I know) but I don't enjoy the concept of doing it. But as I've got more into make up, the past year all so I have got more into it and more into taking care of my skin. Most people know what their skin type is but mine differs from time to time. Sometimes its normal, sometimes its a bit oily and dry so I find it hard to buy skin care to match my skin type.
Recently, Garnier have bought out the new Moisture Match which states that it adapts to your skin type which I was very excited about. They have 5 different formulas which means there should be one to match your skin type. I bought mine over a month ago in Tesco and I thought I'd try the formula for dull skin as I feel that my skin is dull. and, I am in love with this product!
The first thing I love is the packaging, it so cute! I like how each formula has a different colour so you get the correct one. I also love the scent of it. It smells citrussy with lemon and lime which I find cools my skin which is perfect for the summer (yes, the sun is finally coming out in the UK!).
It is gel based and not oily on the skin which is perfect for people with oily skin and it absorbs really fast like, reallyyyyy fast and I find it mattifies my skin so it makes a great primer for my foundation.

Since using this, I have noticed a big difference in my skin. It appears alot more radiant, it does re hydrate my skin (not sure it does for 24 hours), it fills in my pores and it smooths my skin so much, its like a babies butt. No joke. I use this product both in the morning and before I go to bed and my skin is 100% better than what is was.

Overall, I am really impressed with this product and i'm thinking about getting a few more from the line to see if they match up.

Have you tried the new moisture match for Garnier and what do you think?

My Life #1

Hey guys.
I decided to do a my life post today as my life has been fairly busy within the last 2/3 weeks and I thought I'd show you what I've been up to.
The main event what happened was my uncle marrying his fiancee. I had been looking forward to the wedding since last year and the day finally came! The bride looked absolutely beautiful and her dress, wow! The whole day was perfect for a perfect couple. Later in the evening, my boyfriends best friend and his girlfriend  joined the party which was the icing on the cake. Spending all day with family and finishing it off dancing with moustaches and party glasses with my best friends. What could be better.
Also a week before, my boyfriend ended his teenage years and turned 20. For the last 2 years, we had done pub crawls but we decided to have a chilled day doing some shopping and spending the night having a few drinkypoos the day before his birthday. Again, our best friends and his family were there which made the night even more special. On the Sunday, we then went over to his sisters for a lovely dinner as the weather wasn't looking too good for a BBQ.
Also, I went to Alton Towers with 2 friends from college on Thursday and I had never been to Alton Towers before and I hadn't been on rollercoasters for years so, I was rather pooping myself. We initially wanted to go on the Smiler but it had broken down for the majority of the day and then re-opened half an hour before closing time? So we unfortunately wasn't able to go on that but the day was brilliant and the weather was nice. Hurray!
Last but not least, my boyfriend got us both tickets to see Volbeat in October and Papa Roach in December!! My taste in music has slightly drifted into his taste in music of which he now called me a ''rocker''. We went and saw Steel Panther in November last year in London and ever since, I told him we were to go to more gigs. He goes to a rock festival every year called Download which consists of rock music of which I was unable to go due to college and I was gutted because Papa Roach was there and they are like, my favourite band now. But, I was so so sooo excited when he had booked tickets and they arrived through the door a few days ago. I am SO excited to finally see them!

Have you done anything exciting recently?

Wish list #1

Hey guys!

There are a few products which have caught my eye recently which I've been wanting. I've been trying not to spend money of make up that I really don't need which I've created a wish list for. Now whenever I read posts like this, they usually contain expensive luxury items. But considering I don't have a lot of money, all the products that's on my wish list are drugstore items.

Collection Illuminating Touch Concealer. £4.99
I've had my eye on this product for a while but I have the lasting perfection concealer which I love so I thought to myself, I don't need another concealer. But, I am running low on my concealer and therefore thinking of what concealer to get next. I like the idea of this concealer as it is brightening which will help with the summer as nights get later and my dark circles will get darker. I will be buying the lasting perfecting concealer again and use the brightening concealer under my eyes. This concealer is £4.99 but in my local Wilkinsons, there's an offer so its now £2.49! Bargain.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. £3.99
I currently have 2 powders on the go which are collections loose powder and Rimmel match Perfection loose powder so I don't feel the need to rush out and get this. I like both loose and pressed powder but for the summer I prefer a pressed powder as its a lot smaller to fit in my bag when needing to re apply during the day.

Bourjois Bronzing Powder Delice De Pondre. £6.99
Now if you read my 'Beauty things I suck at' post, you would know that I cannot contour for the life of me. I feel that there is no shape in my face so I find it hard to contour. But, it's one of those things that I want to conquer and be able to say, ' I can do it'. I use a bronzing powder from a blusher palette but I've heard so many good things about this bronzer and I feel that if I invest in a good powder and brush, I will hopefully be able to contour.

Maybelline Baby Lips.
Baby Lips are not available in the UK yet and there was speculation that they will be coming to the UK soon. I looked on Boots website today and they stated that they were soon to be in stock. When I first read about these I was drawn in immediately. If you read my posts, you know I do not work well with lip products so when I saw that these were a lip balm with colour, I wanted to get them. I've heard many good things about these products and I can't wait to try them out when they arrive in the UK.

Real Techniques Brushes - Core Collection. £21.99
I have the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush and I love it dearly and ever since I bought this brush, I wanted to try the other brushes mostly for the contour brush which I heard works well with the Bourjois Bronzing Powder. I want to collect all the Real Technique brushes but I feel that at the moment, I would use the face brushes for than the Eye starter kit. I also really want the powder and blush brushes so I'm saving my boots points to purchase these!

What products are on your wishlist?

Beauty things I suck at.

Hey guys.

Now, I am so sorry for the lack of posts recently. I've finally finished my first year at college so I decided to have a chilled few days and catch up with all the TV I missed. But, i'm getting back into the swing of things and starting off, I've decided to do a tag!

1. Applying eyelashes.
I cannot apply eyelashes for the life of me. I have quite small eyes so cutting them down to size is tricky and applying them close to my lash line is extremely hard for me. And because I have quite small eyes, they look quite stupid on me. But I think if I look into eyelashes and different brands and stuff, I hope to find a pair that suit me without looking to big for my face.

2. Eyeliner.
Now, again because my eyes are small, think liner on my lash line looks terrible. I used to wear eyeliner a lot but I think it looks to harsh as well. Now if I do want a bit more definition on my eyes, I use a eyeshadow and apply it to the upper waterline and apply it on my lashes to give it extra definition that seems to work. I used to use gel eyeliner which is why it could look a bit too silly for my face but I want to invest in a liquid eyeliner as it gives you more precision.

3. Applying lipstick.
Now as I've said in many previous posts, I have horrible lips as they are sore, dry and cracked which means I don't really wear lipstick. But, I have dove into the deep end and started to buy more to encourage me to wear it more. When I do apply it, I takes me about 5 minutes to do as I don't think it suits me very good which means I such at applying it. But, I am playing around with it a lot more.

4. Contouring.
Now, I really suck at this! I love the concept of contouring that it makes your face appear slimmer which what my face needs. I still have quite full cheeks which makes contouring hard to do as there is no structure from what I know on my cheeks so when I do contour, it looks as if I've put a dark brown blusher, half way down my face. No matter how hard I try and how many different videos I watch, I just does not work.

There are many more things that I suck at as I am not a make up artist but these, are the things that drive me insane as I just can't do them.

What beauty things do you suck at?
